Team: Ollie, Ryder, Cobie, Will, Connor and Harry
In the season opener the boys travelled to Abercarn for a round robin with Risca and Abercarn. The depleted team came up against big squads from both teams but the boys did well to compete. Excellent attacking rugby from all teams resulted in lots of tries with the scores being:
Cefn Coed 8 v Risca 9
Try Scorers: Ryder 1, Cobie 3, Will 1 and Connor 3.
Cefn Coed 8 v Abercarn
Try scorers: Connor 2, Will 1, Ryder 1, Harry 1 and Cobie 3.
