The wolfcubs welcomed a very well drilled Gwernyfed team to our home ground. From the first whistle, the boys were on the front foot, scoring within the first 20 seconds of the match.
Unfortunately, the away team started getting the better of us, scoring 3 un-answered tried to end the first period.
In the second period, the boys showed some excellent team work and commitment, getting themelves back into the game. The young wolves showed some excellent handling skills and tackling which allowed us to get and retain posession of the ball to score some superb team tries.
Going in to the third period, we were trailing by one try which didn't faze our lads who stuck together and played some brilliant rugby to come out on top.
